4 Ideas for Family Fun at Longridge Park

  1. Watch a Puppet Wagon Performance in the summer months.
  2. Run. Take advantage of the green space of the athletic fields and play some traditional field games.
  3. Bring your baseball gear and practice on the park’s diamonds
  4. Play on the park’s Playground Equipment

The playground is a good size with elements that will appeal to toddlers through middle grade school kids. There is plenty of room to spread out and run, climb, jump and swing.

Apple Valley Puppet Wagon Visits Longridge Park

This park traditionally participates in the Apple Valley Puppet Wagon, which travels to different city parks Monday through Friday in the summer months. Find the schedule each year on the city’s website here or we try to include them on our calendar.

In 2020, Apple Valley created the short video below with a little skit put on by the stars of the Apple Valley Puppet Wagon — Aroma, Essence and their friends.
