London Park is a small neighborhood park (about 2.5 acres) in Blaine on the corner of London Street and 119th Avenue. It’s main features are a playground and a half basketball court. There is also green space for unstructured play. This park does not have restrooms. The park also includes a wetland area and is surrounded by a wooded area. This park is due for a playground equipment upgrade in 2018. The new equipment looks like it will be quite a bit larger and more engaging than the old equipment. Weather permitting, the old equipment is scheduled to be removed during Labor Day week. The park will then be regraded and new playground equipment will be installed in mid September. The park’s department hopes to reopen the park on September 24th. See a composite sketch of the new playground below: New Playground Equipment for London Park
