Roy Wilkins Park (f/k/a Lewis Park) in St. Paul has family-friendly amenities that include a splash pad, a playground, picnic areas, trails and open spaces. Readers have reviewed this site and have not had the most positive feedback. You can see from the pictures that Anne’s kids had a good time on their visit. Cool Off at Twin Cities Area Splash Pads & Wading Pools This park is home to one of four splash pads in St. Paul. It is open from 9am-9pm daily in the summer. Note: A few years back, we had reader reports that this splash pad was far from well kept. If you visit or live nearby, we would love to hear your feedback. “I would strongly recommend AGAINST going to Lewis Park in St Paul. We went on a Sunday AM and there were people bathing in it, bodily discharges and broken glass on the ground from recent nights (i assume), it was disgusting.
