Kelley Park in Apple Valley has family-friendly amenities that include a large animal-themed splash pad, a playground and a gazebo-style picnic shelter. Most summers this park is the home to an annual summer concert series featuring a variety of styles on Friday evenings June through August. The Kelly Park summer concert series is presented by the Apple Valley Arts foundation and schedules can be found on their website. Most of the parks in Apple Valley are equipped with picnic tables to accommodate small picnic groups. These facilities are available on a first-come, first-served basis, unless they are reserved. However, this park does not appear to be reservable. Apple Valley also has a Chuckwagon Barbecue available to rent. It cooks up to 100 hamburgers at one time on the 24-by-72-inch cooking surface and is portable. The grill is available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis within any City of Apple Valley park.
