Maplewood Trails and Preserves: Open 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset every day of the year

Joy Park is a neighborhood nature preserve in Maplewood that runs along the shores of Silver Lake. It is ideal for picnics, fishing trips, family walks or open nature play. Explore the kettles and moraines of ancient glacier territory or picnic in the open air shelter. The trails are not maintained, but the park and foot paths are mowed. Watch for a new asphalt trail late in 2018. Restrooms are rustic.
