Hancock Recreation Center has offerings for visitors that include an outdoor playground, space to picnic and sports fields. It also offers an indoor gym, craft space. Look for family-friendly events and educational programs throughout the year, including the annual Easter Egg Hunt. St. Paul recreation facilities have rooms available for rent. Rooms at this facility include, a craft room, a medium-sized gym, a kitchen, a lounge and a multi-purpose room. There is no pavilion or other outdoor space to rent at this park. This recreation center has historically been among the Saint Paul recreation centers that provide free summer meals to children. Families can sometimes find open gym times, tot times and family events at this facility. Tot times are offered for children 5 years of age and younger. Open gym times are offered for a wider age range. Offerings change from season to season. As always with both the open gym and tot times, its wise to call ahead. Times are subject to change without notice and do change seasonally. Hancock Recreation Center shares building space with Hamline Elementary School. The playground and playing fields may be in use during school hours.
