Hancock Recreation Center shares building space with Hamline Elementary School. The playground and playing fields may be in use during school hours. Bring a playground ball when you visit this park, you can use it to play basketball, soccer, kickball, volleyball, dodgeball and a variety of other games in the open green spaces.

1. Bring a basketball to play a game of Around the World on the half-court basketball court.
2. Pack a picnic or grab a coffee to relax while the kids play. A small picnic table sits near the mural by the playground. There is a Starbucks inside Hamline University just across Snelling Avenue.
