Fernbrook Fields is an athletic complex in Maple Grove created in 2019 through a partnership between the city, the school district and local youth sports organizations. Although mainly a sports park, it offers family-friendly amenities, including a large modern playground. Note that while general use areas, such as the playground, are free. Some park facilities may charge admission. Amenities include 4 full-size artificial turf fields, a picnic pavilion and shaded seating, the playground, and public restrooms. It also contains a year-round sports dome that houses an artificial turf field, a batting tunnel and walking track. Open dome times and walking hours are offered in the winter months. The cost is $5.00 per person payable in cash at the door. Everyone, including supervising parents, needs to pay entry fee.
