East Medicine Lake Park is a 12 acre park in Plymouth with a seasonal beach, playground, trails and space to picnic. There are restrooms available during beach season. There is off-street parking available. The park sometimes hosts special events, like Kites over the Beach in June and Beaches, Bands & Brews in August.

4 Ideas for Family Fun at East Medicine Lake Park

  1. Visit the Sea Monster at the Beach. This beautiful beach features a sea-monster and a turtle play structure in the sand.
  2. Play on the Awesome Playground. The playground at this park is reminiscent of Sesame Street in its glory days, with colorful orange, green and blue equipment.
  3. Pack a picnic. There are grills, picnic tables and green space for your family’s lunch break.
  4. Take a walk along the park’s trails

Medicine Lake East Beach

May 27, 2023 through August 13, 2023

The  beach is open from 9:00am-8:00pm during the summer months, subject to weather and temperature.  It features bathrooms and a changing area and has a nearby playground and picnic area. Children under the age of 11 require an adult chaperone.

Birthday Parties at the Beach

Families can reserve the shelter for private events like birthday parties. Reservations should be made at least two weeks prior to the event and can be made as early as January 1st of the same year.
