With multiple playing fields and sports courts as well as a recreation building, Duluth and Case Recreation Center offers indoor and outdoor family time opportunities. Amenities include a playground, a gym, sports fields, a children’s garden, and space for picnics. While it offers more traditional sports fields, families can also try out Sepak Takraw and Tuj Lub at this park. City of Saint Paul plans to remove and replace the Duluth and Case Recreation Center Play Area during the summer of 2023. The park will receive new play equipment and surfacing and may also get new walks, benches, signs, and landscaping. The new playground should be open by the fall of 2023. This park is home to three of the five Sepak Takraw courts in St. Paul. Sepak Takraw is a traditional Southeast Asian sport that is a bit like a a cross between soccer and volleyball. While this sport can be played in any field where a net can be set up, the City of St. Paul hopes these permanent facilities that will be used by the surrounding community for years to come. St. Paul Recreational Centers have rooms available for rent for birthday parties and other private events.  Available rooms at this facility include, a small gym, a kitchen, and a multipurpose room. Saint Paul Parks provides free summer meals at recreation centers for youth 18 years of age and under. This location traditionally participates. Call the rec center for more details. Families can often find open gym times, tot times and family events at this facility. As always with tot times, its wise to call ahead.
