Creekside Community Center in Bloomington traditionally hosts family-friendly programs and activities for all ages, including Open Rec, Family Time and Kids Time. It houses food resources for the community. Fare For All is food program that is open to everyone. This program distributes brand-name groceries at a significant discount. Items can include fresh produce, frozen meat, and other basic groceries. While visiting, families can stop by the boutique to shop handcrafted items made by Bloomington neighbors. The Boutique is located in room 102 at Creekside and is open weekdays from 10 am to 3 pm and Tuesday evenings from 5 pm to 7 pm. Meeting rooms and the Minnesota Valley Room can be rented for birthday parties and other private events. Rooms hold 45 to 175 people. However, note that preference is given to government entities, community programs and non-profits. Private events are low on the priority list for room rentals.
