Court Square Park in Belle Plaine is adjacent to the historic Hooper Bowler Hillstrom House (home of the famous two-story outhouse). Amenities include a playground, a picnic shelter with a kitchen and restroom facilities, four barbecue grills, horseshoe pits. This parks playground equipment includes slides, swings, merry-go-round, play system, jungle gym. Restrooms are nearby. The picnic shelter is available to rent for birthday parties and other gatherings. Reservation include use of a kitchenette to prepare and serve food. The fee is less for residents than for non-residents, but both are pretty affordable. Reservations can be made in person or by phone 952-873-5553.
