Minnehaha Creek runs through Cottageville Park.

Kids can walk right up to the shore of the creek in places so, depending on age, you may need to watch the little ones closely. However, the green space between the playground and the creek is large enough that you can probably catch up the fastest tot before they make it to the edge. Bigger kids and adults will enjoy walking the creekside trail to try to view wildlife.
