College Park is a 6 acre park in Brooklyn Park located across from North Hennepin Community College. Family-friendly amenities include a playground, an activity building and space for picnics, including a shelter. In the winter this park maintains a skating rink and the activity building is available for warming.

Ice Skating at College Park

Birthday Parties

The picnic shelter at this park is available for private rentals. Reservations can be made beginning in January of the same calendar year.  The shelter has a 20-person capacity.

Renovations at College Park:

Renovations at College Park:The future Light Rail Corridor path will pass this park and a stormwater pond is planned to help with runoff from the LRT. A parking lot and connecting trails through the park will also be added as part of the light rail project.

Currently, the park relies on portable restroom facilities, which are not available in winter. A year-round indoor restroom is planned for the activity building. The city would also like to add a  loop trail in addition to North South connection being added by the light rail development.
