Carpenter Park (also known as Skippy Field) in St. Louis Park has family friendly amenities that include sports fields and courts (with a concession area an drinking fountain), batting cages and a skateboard park. It also has a play structure and, space to picnic and walking paths. The playground is standard with a wood-chip floor.

Skate Park at Carpenter Park

The City of St. Louis Park created a 6,500-square-foot, concrete skate park. This plaza-style skate park includes stairs, rails and a mini half-pipe. It unofficially opened in the fall of 2017 and celebrated its official grand opening in June of 2018. The Skate Park is FREE to use between 9am an Dusk.

Another active option would be to rent the Tennis courts. The can be reserved by the hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
