Ideas for Family Fun at Arlington Arkwright Park

Since this is mainly a sports park, we recommend bringing along your favorite sports gear. Minimally, a playground ball will allow you to play the following kid-friendly games:

  1. Play a game of kickball on the fenced-in baseball field.  Even if you kick a long way, it won’t go too far. Note that this field may be in use by leagues during baseball season.
    1 Soccer Field
    1 Basketball Court
    2 Tennis Courts
1 Pickleball court (striped tennis court)
    1 Skate Park
    Picnic Area
    Dog Park

Arlington Arkwright Skate Park

Arlington Arkwright became St. Paul’s third skate park in 2015. However, its equipment was moved from Front Park when Front Park was renovated, so Arlington Arkwright’s skate park is not the newest facility.

Arlington Arkwright Park Sledding Hill

This park has a medium slope sledding hill that is open for free public use. If you would like to read more about safety tips for sledding form the St. Paul Parks Department, you can find that HERE.
