Here are 10 Twin Cities beaches to try this summer.

7)  Go camping

Here’s a crash course for camping at Minnesota State Parks.  Personally, my family loves camping (except when we don’t like when it’s 100 degrees in May) and every year we go camping once or twice at a state park.  We’ve been to William O’Brien, Wild River, Interstate (on the WI side), Itasca, Temperance, and this year we are going to be at Bear Head Lake (I’ve been told it’s like the Boundary Waters without being in the Boundary Waters). While we haven’t been to more than a handful, we love them and enjoy what they offer.

8.  Eat Ice Cream

7/28/18: Ice Cream Social | Open Eye Theatre, 506 E 24th Street, Minneapolis  | 11:30 am-3 pm | Free |  Enjoy ice cream, puppet shows on the hour, face-painting, carnival games, and crafts.  Fun for the whole family. Will be held rain or shine!

Can’t make it to Open Eye, check out some of our favorite ice cream and froyo shops around the Twin Cities.
