The Free List – Outdoor Activities for An Autumn Weekend

It looks like the rain that we are getting will be done after Friday — which is good, because I picked all outdoor activities this weekend.  It’s time to drag out the cozy fall sweaters and boots and maybe even hats (for the littlest ones at least). This is my favorite time of the year!  And here are five great ways to take advantage of the cooler weather.  Another option would be a fall color tour.  There isn’t a lot of chance happening in the Twin Cities — but further north things are starting to change.  Gianna has some ideas for Fall Color Tours this season.

When I get home I spend my time with my four kids, 10, 6, 4 and 1. My amazing husband is both a full-time musician and full-time stay-at-home dad. Together we run a small radio empire — SiaNet Radio — playing, promoting and enjoying the wide variety of local music and art in the Twin Cities. I juggle all this while writing about exploring the Twin Cities with kids. I couldn’t be happier.
