We’re writing to let you know that tickets are still available for the first concert in our new Friends & Family series on Sunday, March 2 at 2pm. Adult tickets are just $5 and children’s tickets are free, thanks to generous support from Friends of the Minnesota Orchestra. We hope that you will visit us soon and join us in applauding our Grammy Award-winning musicians onstage in the newly-renovated Orchestra Hall.

Come early! Explore our renovated lobby spaces and enjoy pre-concert entertainment featuring The Medicine Show Music Company beginning at noon followed by Friends & Family Sound Discovery Stations beginning at 1 pm, where you can learn more about the instruments used on stage, and even try playing them yourself!

Joy Peters - co-creator and writer for FamilyFunTwinCities.com.

Besides Family Fun Twin Cities, I spend my 9 to 5 at a day job pursuing my weird passion for calendars and organizing things as a legal secretary. When I get home I spend my time with my four kids, 10, 6, 4 and 1. My amazing husband is both a full-time musician and full-time stay-at-home dad. Together we run a small radio empire — SiaNet Radio — playing, promoting and enjoying the wide variety of local music and art in the Twin Cities. I juggle all this while writing about exploring the Twin Cities with kids. I couldn’t be happier.
