Summer to Remember Adventure #7: Chilled

chilled raspberry popsicles

My kids have been waiting all summer for this week’s prompt.  Not that we haven’t been indulging during different weeks, but for some reason they are beyond excited for this week.

For the Summer to Remember Adventure No. 7, the prompt is

“Chilled”

You can use this adventure prompt around town, through creative play, or in a book.  Go easy on yourself and head out for a frozen dessert during this last week of Ice Cream Month or make homemade popsicles.  Or read a book that includes a soda fountain.  Whatever you do, take advantage of this adventure’s yummy theme.

Adventures Around Town

Visit an independent ice cream shoppe around the metro.  Let us know if we missed one.

Maybe ice cream isn’t for you.  You can check out a local FroYo Emporium.

Rather have an ice cold drink? Check out Blue Sun Soda Shop or the Largest Candy Store in Minnesota.

Adventures Through Creative Play

For creative play, we suggest you make your own deliciously chilled treat.  If you need a recipe or two, we’ve got you covered.
