The St. Paul Winter Carnival  (SPWC) takes place from Thursday, January 23, 2014-Sunday, February 2, 2014.  If you are like me,  at this point in the winter, you are in survival mode.  The idea of going outside is not only met with cries of excruciating pain, but  by the time you realize the SPWC is happening, you are so overwhelmed by all the activities that you put your fingers in your ears, shut your eyes tight, and sing John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt at the top of your lungs.

2013-Royal-Family-midOr maybe it’s just me.

Anyway, we wanted to make sure you knew what was going on during the SPWC now so that you could make sure you can get your family to some fun and mostly free winter entertainment. It really is worth going to, and you won’t be disappointed with the effort it takes you to get your family ready for a day outside in the cold.  Just make sure everyone has gone to the bathroom before they stuff themselves into their winter gear.
