Today the Design Zone exhibit will open – bringing hands-on math exploration to the museum just in time for fall break!
In Design Zone, visitors will go behind the scenes and see how video game developers, music producers, roller coaster designers, and other creative problem solvers use math to do the amazing things they do. They’ll solve real-world challenges by using their hands – and their bodies – to explore slope, scale and ratios. They’ll discover that math isn’t just a subject in school – it’s a fundamental, creative tool that they can use to design and invent.
