I love outdoor movies. I think its one of the romantic things of summer. We’re drawing to the end of outdoor movie season, and I haven’t gotten to nearly enough this year. Friday night is particularly awesome. I think the people at In the Heart of the Beast are great and anything they add their name to is certainly going to exceed expectations. Then add free root beer, popcorn and a bouncy house. We HAVE TO do this.
Phillips Project Youth is an outreach program to bring high quality art projects to economically challenged kids. These kids will be screening the short films they’ve been working on all summer. I love short films.
I also love UP!. It’s one of my favorite modern films. I’m sure I was one of the last people on earth to see it, but you can watch the trailer below if you haven’t or if you just want to remember how funny it was.
