Manna Market

If you live in or near Fridley, you have an opportunity to help to feed those who are hungry.  I saw information about this in the church we go to for Awana.  I was instantly intrigued.

It’s called Manna Market.

It is open to the public at Fridley Covenant Church on Tuesdays from 5:00-7:00 pm.

Each Tuesday, the schedule is:

5:00 pm – 6 pm free meal – food and fellowship
5:30 pm– 7 pm free food distribution – fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, breads

This is a super easy volunteer opportunity.  You can just show up at 5:00 to be a “carrier”.  Carriers help guests select their produce and carry their boxes for them.  Once you’ve been a carrier, there are many other opportunities to be involved.
