This year St. Paul is celebrating its 30th year of hosting an Annual Citywide Spring Cleanup in honor of earth day. Not to be outdone by her neighbor, Minneapolis has her fair share of Earth Day events. Many of them are park clean-ups as well. These events go throughout the month of April to help clean up the parks, to raise money for the parks, and to raise awareness of our planet. Several other parks, Como Zoo and Midtown Global Market also offer Earth day celebrations.
