Details: Celebrate a collection of cultures at the International Festival of Burnsville. Join in family activities and cultural art projects; visit cultural exhibits; and take time to see the “Worldly Treasures” display in the Ames Center. Get the full event schedule here.

Time: July 11 & 12, 10am-5pm
Details: Two days’ worth of of colorful, traditional dances and music to showcase the performance arts of Asia. Admission, parking, performances and nearly all the children’s activities are free.

Saturday Drop-In Discoveries
@ Tamarack Nature Center

Time: 10am-noon
Details: Drop in for themed discovery stations every Saturday at Tamarack Nature Center and plan to spend some time in the fantastic Discovery Hollow nature playground. This weekend’s discovery topic is Growing Herbs & Spices.

@ Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts

Time: 1-3pm
Details: Open Eye Figure Theater will present the puppet show The Adventures of Juan Bobo on the lawn outside at Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts at 1 pm. From personal experience, these shows are entertaining for adults as well! Stay to participate in puppet-making, a scavenger hunt and snacks after the show.

Let’s Get StARTed: Public Theater of Minnesota

Time: 1-3pm
Details: Drop in between 1-3pm to meet the Public Theater of Minnesota and make a puppet.
