Union Depot’s schedule is always full of awesome free family fun! Tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. you are invited to a celebration of a new Little Free Library Grand Opening and the launch of Games Galore.
At 11:00 a.m. you can attend a ribbon cutting for the Little Free Library. At the same time, participate in Games Galore–the expanded version of what used to be Game Night.
The Little Free Library will be located on a colorful train cart in the Waiting Room at Union Depot. This location is the first in downtown St. Paul. Subtext Books, which is relocating to downtown St. Paul, is donating books to help start the library and will have representatives at the event selling books. Guests are invited to bring a book to add to the library. Gently used or new travel guides, travel memoirs, transportation history, transportation books for children and local history books would be excellent additions to the new collection.
Games Galore includes games for all ages and giant-sized games such as Jenga and Checkers. Previously offered only in the late afternoon and early evening, Games Galore will be set up in the Waiting Room every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The expanded hours are designed to offer fun options for people of all ages who seek a board game challenge and a friendly competition.
While you are at Union Depot on Wednesday, enjoy these activities.
