My kids want a puppy. Unfortunately for them, Daddy is allergic and would rather not deal with the repercussions of having a dog. So instead we have a loud, screechy parrot. I would love to have a dog, but then I read books like Puppa-na-Wuppana and think, I’m not ready to have a dog.
Written by local authors , Cindy Koebele and Lori Weaver, Puppa-na-Wuppana takes you through life with a new puppy from the dog’s perspective. This little beagle discovers that he has a magical nose! The writing is easy to read out loud and the illustrations are bright and colorful.
If we could get a puppy that looked exactly like Puppa-na-Wuppana (but didn’t do all the puppy things), I would be much more willing and excited to get a furry friend.
This year in school, my kindergartner had the privilege of meeting Cindy Koebele and couldn’t say enough good things about this adorable little story.
We have been offered a gift pack courtesy of Twin Cities Kids Club for one of our readers. The gift pack includes a t-shirt for mom, a t-shirt for your little one, and the story. We would love to see you wearing your shirts and reading your book.
How fun would that be?
This contest is open until tonight, June 22, until 9:00 p.m. The winner will be contacted by email.
