We love us our indoor playground areas.  And every year, we try to update our list for you.

When I say we, I really mean Anne.  She does most of the work. (Joy and I contribute our opinions or occasional post, but the playgrounds are Anne’s personal specialty).

So here are our favorite lists of indoor playground areas.

North Metro Indoor Playground Spots

  • Eagles Nest - Indoor PlaygroundBall Pit at the Eagle's Nest
  • Tropical Adventures Indoor PlaygroundTropical Adventures Indoor Playground (Image courtesy Shoreview Community Center)
  • Maple Maze - Indoor PlaygroundMaple Maze
  • Brown Family Adventure Park Indoor PlaygroundJungle Fun at the Brown Family Playground

South Metro Indoor Playground Spots

  • The Blast Indoor PlaygroundThe Blast
  • Playworks Indoor Playground
  • Good Times Park Indoor PlaygroundGood Times Park

East Metro Indoor Playground Spots

  • Woodbury Central Park - Lookout Ridge Indoor PlaygroundLookout Ridge

West Metro Indoor Playground Areas

  • Prairie Play Zone Indoor PlaygroundPrairie Play Zone

Keep in mind, parents, that an indoor playground only counts as exercise for YOU if you get moving into the tubes and slides yourself. In fact, you may want to consider wearing knee pads to protect your potentially aching joints.

Pack a snack or a lunch and make a day of it.  This kind of play will bring a smile to your children’s faces as well as your own.
