DESCRIPTION:At the Gideon Pond House in Pond-Dakota Mission Park\, you can 
 explore what life was like around the time Minnesota became a state. Hands
 -on\, living history activities are presented weekly that appeal to kids a
 nd families. Each year in March\, one of these Saturdays is devoted to the
  art of maple sugaring - presenting the sap-to-syrup story and allowing yo
 u to taste the results. Drop in between 1-4pm.\n\n
