DESCRIPTION:Deardorff Orchard opens annually for apple-picking season aroun
 d Labor Day weekend until it is picked ot in October! Our kids found plent
 y to do clambering on logs\, getting up close to the horses\, touring the 
 orchard by tractor ride (complimentary if you plan to pick your own apples
 )\, and enjoying the fresh air. If you have the time and/or inclination\, 
 there's the onsite Parley Lake Winery\, located adjacent to the classic wh
 ite apple barn. Long after the last apples have fallen from the trees\, th
 e tasting room is still open Friday-Sunday until mid-December. There is no
  general admission to visit the orchard.
