Discover Aviation Days at Anoka County Airport

We don’t live far from the Anoka County Airport, and one of our favorite weekends to be outside is the first weekend in June when we get to see (and hear) B-52 Bombers buzz through the sky .  With just the 5 airplanes flying overhead, the clamor of the engines is extremely loud.  We always stop and take a minute to think about Pearl Harbor and the commotion of the hundreds of planes flying overhead.  This year is finally the year that my family will be able to attend Discover Aviation Days (DAD) at the airport.

If you are at all interested in attending this event, you can check out Lisa’s  review of last year’s event.  Makes me want to go even more!  Hope to see you there!
