About Shafer Corn Maze Prior to Its Close:

Shafer Corn Maze was located near Taylors Falls and could be it’s own day trip or part of a bigger day trip or weekend.

Shafer Corn Mazes Activities Included With Admission:

  • The Maze.  Over 4 miles of paths cut into 12 acres of corn.
  • Treasure Hunt. Participate in a scavenger hunt within the large maze for a chance to win prizes.
  • Farm Scene Investigation. (FSI) Gather evidence to locate missing Farmer.
  • Adrian Fisher Rope Maze. Compete for the quickest time.
  • Human Foosball. Play a life-sized version of foosball with family or friends!
  • Petting Zoo. Farm animals up close, including pigs, goats, sheep, geese, calf and miniature horse!
  • Classic Corn Bag Toss.
  • Obstacle Course Races. Jump over straw bales, thru a tractor tire, across a cargo net, and finish with a gunny sack race.
  • Milk a Cardboard Cow. Photo Op?
  • Picnic. Bring your own or buy snacks there.

What was NOT included in Shafer Corn Mazes Admission:

The farm will did have pumpkins for sale its final year. However, there was an apple orchard 2 miles away with pumpkins.
