Phillips Park Community Center and Aquatics Facility
The Aquatic Center's 6-lane pool and spectator area has been newly renovated and a new 4-lane teaching pool, family changing rooms, a community meeting room, and public restrooms were also added. This is MPRB's first, year-round indoor swimming pool.
Daily Rate: $5
Monthly Rate: $45
3-Month Seasonal Rate: $129
Note: If you have children over the age of 12, it would be worthwhile to comparison shop. A family membership to the YMCA would cost less than 3 Monthly passes and most community rec centers offer family rates that include all children under 18. The facility does offer discounted rates to those who live in the neighborhood.
Phillips Park Fitness Center
Phillips Fitness Center memberships cost $10/month and include unlimited access to workout equipment, group fitness classes and certified personal training. While memberships are 18+, there are several activities available for children and teens (many of which are free), that could make regular family visits to this park an affordable family fitness plan. Visit the Minneapolis Parks Activity Search page for ideas.
