The Owl and the Octopus is a toy store in Wayzata that opened in November of 2018. They carry upscale toys focusing on imaginative play, transportation play, books & puzzles, active play, learning toys, arts & crafts, plush toys, and novelty items. They carry items for infants & babies through tweens and family. The toy store prides itself on maintaining a small-town charm with a friendly, knowledgeable staff but carrying an extensive inventory. Kids can print coloring pages from the store’s website based on Olivia the Owl and Oswald the Octopus – the mascots of the store. “The Owl and the Octopus represent the spirit of imagination and learning that exists within the spirit of every child – and if we’re lucky, we believe we can retain that spirit – that desire to continue learning and playing through our entire lives.” The store has hosted a story hour in the past and may do so again in the future. We have been informed by readers that these times have changed. I sent an email to our store requesting updates, and to date have not received any information. We’ll keep you updated.Related:
