Family Fun Directory of Things To Do with Kids:
Ojibway Park in Woodbury has several family-friendly amenities, including a Skate Park, a playground with both accessible and less accessible play structures and space for picnics with grills. There are also a variety of sports courts, paved and unpaved trails and winter recreation amenities. The park building has restrooms and there is off-street parking.
Winter at Ojibway Park
In the winter this park maintains cross country ski trails and a lighted hockey rink with a warming house.
Rinks are open, dependent on weather, from late December through the end of February. The City of Woodbury weather line -- (651) 714-3569 -- has up-to-date information regarding closures. Warming house hours are from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays (including school release days) and and 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends. Note: Rinks were closed for the 2018/19 due to the redesign project, but we expect to see them reopen for the 2019/20 season.
Ojibway Park Redesign Project
Construction was completed and was reopening was celebrated in October 2019. Updates included a new park building, destination playground and boardwalk.
Woodbury Days at Ojibway Park
Woodbury Days is a community festival hosted annually in late August. Activities include the Taste of Woodbury, carnival rides and games, community-sponsored activities and musical entertainment.
Birthday Parties at Ojibway Park
Ojibway Park Shelter is available to rent between April 14th and October 14th. The shelter holds up to 48 people and rental prices start at $90 for residents and $115 for non-residents and a $100 damage deposit.
