Morris Park and Recreation Center have family-friendly amenities that include a playground and tot lot (built in 2009), and a wading pool. It also has space for picnic and grilling with a drinking fountain and restroom facilities.

Morris Skate Park

There are six skate parks in Minneapolis Parks. This one was installed in 2005. It has 7 concrete features and an asphalt base. Skaters enjoy this park for its spacing and mix of obstacles. They do not care for the cracked asphalt and would prefer concrete. MPRB will be upgrading its skate parks in the coming years with a 20-year plan to support the local skating community.

Morris Park Wading Pool

Built in 1957, the pool is one of the older wading pools. Since the elementary school closed in 2007, the wading pool is open from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day. Minneapolis wading pools do not have lifeguards. Families can swim under their own supervision between 10 am and 9 pm during the season.
