McDonough Recreation Center offers families a playground, a medium slope sledding hill, sports fields and a recreation center. It hosts family-friendly events throughout the year. These are often listed on its Facebook events page. Note: St. Paul has a bewildering habit of giving unrelated parks very similar names. This recreation center should not be confused with McDonough Park Preserve, which is on the opposite side of St. Paul. St. Paul Recreational Centers have rooms available for rent. Rooms at this facility include, a craft room, a kitchen and a large and small gym.
