Kindermusik is an international music school that specializes in early childhood education. There are several franchises in the Twin Cities metro. The corporation trains and license its providers, who then offer classes from their own studios. Some of the Twin Cities providers also offer other programming. No matter where the class is held — an early childhood education center or a private studio — every class has similar elements that include: Kindermusik also sells kits to bring what you learn in class home. Kits can include the music, instruments and other aids used in classes. Kindermusik boasts that their classes help to develop social skills, problem-solving skills, pre-math skills, and a foundation for reading. They offer studies to back up this boast on their website. Personally, I believe that the mere act of you being involved in their lives helps to foster these skills, but these family music classes are a great tool for you to use to help you interact with your child.
