Award-winning local author, John Coy, has written children’s picture books, middle-grade novels, and young adult novels. Coy lives in Minneapolis and visits schools nationally and internationally. We like Coy’s novels for his ability to take meaningful subjects and make them accessible for his target age group. Although his books tend to be geared towards boys, mom’s will also enjoy these books. (Trust me when I tell you that is not always the case with books geared toward little boys.)

This book, publishing October 1, 2019, is the story of the 12000 years of Minnesota told from the perspective of the only major waterfall on the Mississippi River.
