Family Fun Directory of Things To Do with Kids:
Izzy's Ice Cream has two Twin Cities locations. One in St. Paul and one in Minneapolis. Gianna ranks them as one of the best ice cream shops in the Twin Cities. You can read more about her tour of ice cream shops and what she did and didn't like about each shop here.
The St. Paul location happens to be a couple doors down from Choo Choo Bob's Train Store, offering parents a nice way to get kids out the door when it time to leave. The Minneapolis location is near the Stone Arch Bridge for a cold snack after a hot walk.
Birthday Parties at Izzy's Ice Cream
Birthday parties at Izzy's St. Paul location start at $165 for 8 kids and 2 adults. Participants learn about making ice cream and make some of their own. They also get to bake brownies and decorate cakes. Every guest including the birthday boy or girl gets a wooden token good for a yummy ice cream treat on a return visit.
Giving Back with Izzy's Ice Cream
Izzy's is owned by Minnesota natives, Lara Hammel and Jeff Sommers. Each February, Izzy's chooses 13 or more local non-profits to donate money to every day for 13 days. You can read about the 13 Days of Giving HERE.
