While scheduled use takes precedence at Blaine outdoor rinks, the general public can use rinks when they are unscheduled. The city typically keeps rinks maintained from December 18 through Presidents Day, but weather plays a role. A warming house is maintained at this location and is open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays, from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and school release days and from noon to 7 p.m. on Sundays, but will close if weather makes skating unsafe.Â
