Located in Burnsville Civic Park, THE GARAGE is an all-ages music venue and recording studio. It is run as a non-profit and offers recording facilities, rehearsal space and workshops for the young musician in your family. While this club is mainly aimed at teens, it is all ages and smoke/alcohol free, so it is a viable option for watching local bands as a family. However, admission generally runs $10 in advance and $12 at the door (and more for traveling acts), so this may be a better one-on-one date with your tween or teen.
