Fishing for Life is a Christian fishing ministry serving youth, families, veterans & communities through fishing and outdoor programs. Their Next Gen program is geared towards kids, providing them with one-on-one fishing activities, fun outdoor-related experiences, and meaningful spiritual guidance. Find current events here.

The program currently offers 8 annual programs and hosts more than 65 events. Since starting, the ministry has provided recreational fishing and outdoor events to over 20,000 youth and adults.

Fishing for Life Summer Day Camps

The ministry offers summer day camps on various metro lakes for kids ages 10-17. Day Camps explore a different metro lake each day. Parents drop campers off at the lake at 9am and pick them back up at 3pm. Along with fishing, camps inlcude a short Bible study time as well as an instructional fishing seminar during the lunch hour. Campers and guides provide their own lunches. In 2020, campers explored

  • Lake DeMontreville
  • Lake Independence
  • Medicine Lake
  • Lake Minnetonka.
