Faribault Woolen Mill is a woolen factory and store located in Faribault, Minnesota. The current factory was built in 1892, but FWM has been a company since 1865 (the year lincoln died). As one of the last vertical woolen mills in America, it is still a working mill and store as well as a historical landmark. Craftpersons use both the century-old machinery and modern technology to weave blankets, throws, scarves and accessories. Mill tours are available on Fridays at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Saturday tours are available on the second Saturday of each month. Call or email customer service to reserve a spot.
