Hi, my name Karen Tan. I founded Creative Pastels in 2010 and have been a regular artist/art instructor at the Ramsey County Libraries. I work closely with the libraries in Shoreview, Mounds View, Roseville, White Bear Lake, New Brighton and Maplewood, mostly providing art programs for kids and teens. I teach art from my studio at home and also in a few homeschool coops in the Twin Cities. Since late 2017, I started conducting paint night with women’s group from churches and parents from homeschool coop.
I have my art training at the St Paul Art Academy and White Bear Center for Arts.
