Como Town Amusement Park is a permanent (seasonal) amusement park abutting the Como Zoo & Conservatory.
While unlimited rides can be expensive for a family on a budget, single rides can be an affordable treat, and sometimes less is more in these circumstances. Another good family deal is Hodge Podge Park (see details below).
2020 Como Town Hours - Reopened in August
Como Town has also reopened after being closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In order to allow for social distancing, advanced reservations and face coverings will be required this year. Tickets are $15.00 for 1 hour and 20 minutes of unlimited rides. Purchase your reservation package here.
Usual Como Town Prices & Point Passes
The following information is the park's historical (and likely future) prices and does not apply to 2020:
How to Find Como Town Discount Tickets
You can definitely find discounts for Como Town. The best way is to sign up for their mailing list, so you can get a heads up when deals happen. Chrysa at Thrifty Minnesota usually shares when the annual 2 all-day wristbands and 2 temporary tattoos for $27.95 (a $55.90 value) happens -- usually about midway through the summer. Lisa at Twin Cities Frugal Mom watches and shares Groupon deals.
Hodge Park Park & Splash Zone
Hodge Podge Park is a jungle gym park inside of Como Town. Entry costs 10 points ($5.00) for a day pass and includes Como Town's amped up version of a splash pad, Splash Zone. Bring swimsuits and towels for this attraction. Parents and chaperones (aged 14 and up) are free.
Free Family Fun Foam Party
In 2017, the park introduced a free, bubbly attraction: kids (and their adults) can enjoy a foam party any day. The foam party is described as "a bubble bath without the water". Visitors of all ages are invited to stop by and enjoy playing in the bubbly foam.
Birthday Parties at Como Town
Party packages at Como Town run between $19.95/child to $24.95/child (with an 8-guest minimum). Free adult wristband for every child in the group. Both packages include unlimited rides, ice cream, invitations, a souvenir cup, and use of a decorated tent. The higher price also includes pizza or hot dogs. Minimum of 8 guests per party.
