Camp Invention is a program of the National Inventors Hall of Fame in Washington DC and licensed for camp programs throughout the country. The Twin Cities offers dozens of camp options and locations for families to choose the right camp for their child. This camp program is featured in our annual Summer Camp Guide, along with dozens of other summer camp options for Twin Cities kids. Campers will play games throughout the day that underscore the lessons, participate in STEM activities in both the morning and afternoon sessions, get active either indoors or out during their lunch break, learn about real life inventors all while getting hands-on lessons in problem solving skills, teamwork and creativity during full-day sessions at week-long camps. Most camp last five days long and have a morning and afternoon session with a lunch/activity break at mid-day. In 2023, week-long summer camps start at $260, but pricing is determined by the individual camps, so parents are encouraged to contact the camp of their choice for exact pricing. The National Inventors Hall of Fame offers summer camps for kids of all ages, including the Camp Invention program for K-6 graders and leadership programs for 7-9th grade kids and high school and college internships.
