Calvary Lutheran Church of Golden Valley hosts family-friendly events throughout the year. The public is invited to join in these events. In 2024, Calvary Golden Valley is home to Rock & Roll Kids Choir, a community singing ensemble for kids ages 4-7. Participants will practice and perform classic rock and pop songs from artists like David Bowie, Talking Heads, The White Stripes, The Velvet Underground, Cat Stevens, and Prince! Sessions last 12 weeks and consist of 45-minute weekly rehearsals held in Calvary’s Music Auditorium. In 2024, the program offers both a Monday evening and a Sunday afternoon ensemble.
