Augsburg Park is the site of Richfield Skate Park. It also has two playgrounds, walking paths, a pond and ice rinks and sledding in the winter. Richfield Community Center and Augsburg Park Branch of Hennepin County Library are also located in this park. The park is next to Richfield High School and houses its football field, running track, cross country ski trails and tennis courts. There are public tennis courts on the other side of the park. The pond in the center of the park and the canopy of mature oak trees both provide space for wildlife. You’ll almost definitely see geese, maybe turkeys?
