Forecast: Gorgeous fall weekends ahead to hit one of these Twin Cities pumpkin patches before Halloween! And even if you’re not in the market for a jack-o-lantern, these patches are crammed full of fall fun from corn mazes and farm animals to hayrides and train rides. Check out the list below. MINNEAPOLIS PUMPKIN PATCHES

Our Lady of Peace Pumpkin Patch

Location: 5426 12th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55417 (corner of 11th Ave S & E 54th St)
Hours: Weekdays 12pm-6pm, Weekends 10am-7pm; October 20-30, 2023.
Admission/Discounts: Free admission; 2023 pumpkin prices TBA. 
What’s picking: Over 2,000 pre-picked pumpkins on the lawn.
Other activities: Warm cider, lawn games, crafts, petting zoo, autumn scavenger hunt and family-photo mini session.

TWIN CITIES NORTH METRO PUMPKIN PATCHES

Pinehaven Farm

Location: 28186 Kettle River Blvd., Wyoming, MN 55092
Hours: Open weekends & MEA 10am – 7pm. September 16th- October 29th 2023.
Admission/Discounts: Season passes available and it pays for itself in two visits.
2023 Daily Admission $11-$21 (save by pre-purchasing online): The fee covers the majority of attractions offered at the farm; there are a few nominal exceptions. 
What’s picking: Take a trolley ride to the pumpkin patch and pick-your-own. The setting is especially beautiful when the fall colors are at peak.
Other activities: Included in admission to Pinehaven Farm are a bundle of fun fall activities: playground equipment, mazes, all-terrain trikes, trolley rides, jumping pillow, and special events on select weekends. Anoka County Farms 

Location: 125 Bunker Blvd., Ham Lake, MN 55304
Hours: September 23 – October 31, 2023. Weekends: 10am-6pm; Tues-Fri: 4-7pm. Plus special MEA hours.
Admission: $5/pp with many fun fall activities included in the price. Cash only, no checks or credit cards accepted at the farm.
What’s picking: Pumpkins and other produce available for purchase.
Other activities: Paid activities include hayrides, pedal tractors, a play area and lots more. Concessions are also available weekends: “State Fair” inspired food, including cheese curds, mini donuts, corn dogs, fried pickles and  hot apple cider! 

Dehn’s Pumpkins

Location: 17270 125th Ave N, Dayton, MN 55327
Hours: Opens for the season September 23, 2023. Mon-Thu: Noon-6pm; Fri: Noon-9pm; Sat: 9am-9pm; Sun 9am-6pm. Look for special MEA hours.
Admission: Free admission to the market place and pumpkin patch. Wristbands prices vary from $7-$12/pp. Not all activities are available each day and some come at an additional cost. Learn more.
What’s picking: Pumpkins from their 20-acre field.
Other activities: The list includes fall classics such as a corn maze and scenic hayride.

Eveland Family Farm

Location: 2575 Andover Blvd, Andover, MN 55304
Hours: Opens Sept 23, 2023 through Halloween. Mon-Thurs 4 – 7pm, Fri 3-7pm, weekends 10am – 6pm. Look for special MEA hours.
Admission: $5/pp includes a hayride, animal visits and self-guided tour of the farm. $3 to just visit the animals. 
What’s picking: Pumpkins and squash
Other activities: Exploring the farm and its many inhabitants is a highlight — llamas, alpacas, goats, pot-bellied pigs and more. A lovely picnic shelter is available whether you bring your own food or purchase concessions at the farm.

Fresh Acres Farm Pumpkin Patch & Fall Festival

Location: 8102 72nd St NE, Monticello, MN 55362
Hours: Open September 9 thru October 29, 2023. Fridays 11-4pm, weekends 10-6
Admission: $12/pp ages 4-69 covers activities.
What’s picking: The largest pumpkin patch and corn maze in the Albertville-St Michael area features an annual fall festival ripe with activities for all ages. A wristband includes access to  wagon rides, a petting zoo, inflatables, the playground, corn pit and cannon. Get your Halloween jack-o-lantern! SUNFLOWER FIELD open this fall 7 days/week, admission FREE with donation requested. $2/stem to cut-your-own bouquet.

Lendt’s Pumpkin Patch

Location: 6903 Wyoming Trail, Wyoming, MN 55092
Hours: Opening September 23, 2023 through Halloween – 9 am to dusk, 7 days a week
Admission: Free admission – PYO pumpkins are $5/ea in a 40 acre field
What’s picking: PYO pumpkins from the field, $5 apiece. Pre-picked pumpkins start at $6.
Other activities: Sat/Sun hayrides $3ea – M-F hayrides $8/ea by reservation (includes 1 pumpkin and 2 Indian corn/ face painting and concessions on weekends/ many pic taking ops.

Pine Tree Orchard

Location: 450 Apple Orchard Rd, White Bear Lake, MN 55110
Hours: Open weekends in September 30 – October 22, 2023, 11am-4pm (also Wednesday-Friday 1-4pm starting October 4, 2023)
Admission: No charge to enter the orchard; there is a cost for the fall activities.
What’s picking: PYO pumpkin from a 6-acre patch
Other activities: Wagon rides and corn maze.

Waldoch Farm Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

Location: 8174 Lake Dr, Lino Lakes, MN 55014
Hours: Fall Fun at Waldoch opens September 23, 2023. Wednesday-Monday 10am-6pm (Closed Tuesdays).
Admission: Ages 3+ $14.99/weekdays and $17.99/weekends. Online ticket purchase for Joyer Adventure Farm required.
What’s picking: Pumpkin Patch. The Garden Center carries pumpkins, squash, gourds, mums, sunflowers, kale, corn stalks, hay bales, ornamental corn and more.
Other Activities: Joyer Barnyard with lots of animals, the corn maze, other fall activities, and kid friendly food served on weekends. 

Pleasant Valley Orchard

Location: 17325 Pleasant Valley Rd, Shafer, MN 55074
Hours: Open daily 10am-5pm
Admission: Free; extra fee for weekend hayrides to the pumpkin patch ($3/pp).
What’s picking: PYO pumpkins weekends only thru October. PYO apples available on select weekends.
Other activities: The orchard typically hosts 12 Days of Halloween with special activities.

Tom’s Pumpkin Farm

Location: 15281 Panola Dr, Lindstrom MN 55045
Hours:  Closed in 2023.  Tom is taking a year to recover from surgery, but plans to re-open in 2024. Learn more on Facebook.
Admission: Free
What’s picking: Pick-your-own pumpkin and carry it out, $3.99 any size.
Other activities: Families can explore the corn maze, and there’s a hay bale maze for the youngest.

Twin Cities Harvest Festival

Location: 8001 109th Avenue North Brooklyn Park, MN 55445
Hours: Weekends 10am-6pm. Late September through October.
Tickets: $12/pp Admission
What’s picking: 3 pumpkins for $12.00 (in addition to admission).
Other activities: Included: Corn maze & corn pit, straw bale maze, duck, goat and pig races, animal show, magic show, kids play area, live music, petting zoo, hayride. Extras: giant slide, climbing wall, kiddy train, pumpkin slinger, inflatables, pony rides, gunny sack races.

Pearson Family Farm

Pearson Family Farm is in the process of moving the location for fall activities to a new Sherburne County location (the farm is in Ramsey). They may still offer 2023 activities but opening is dependent on the county application process.

TWIN CITIES EAST METRO PUMPKIN PATCHES

Afton Apple Orchard

Location: 14421 S. 90th St., Hastings, MN 55033
Hours: Season starts in Late September, Open daily 10am – 4pm.
Admission: $7/pp ages 5+, $5/pp under age 4. Includes hay rides when available, use of play equipment and petting farm.
What’s picking: Take a hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick-your-own starting in late September and running through the month of October. Call (651) 436-8385 to check the status of picking.
Other activities: Afton’s 15-acre corn maze ($10/ages 11+, $8/ages 2-10). The maze is divided into three progressively challenging phases. 3 additional mazes are included in admission. We haven’t tried the corn maze, but my kids love the tire hill and the play structure.

Country Sun Farm

Location: 11211 N 60th St, Lake Elmo, MN 55042
Hours:  Open weekdays 9am – 7pm, weekends 9am – 6pm. Activities are up and running Saturdays 10am – 5pm, Sundays 11am – 5pm starting late September.
Admission Fee: Free, with a charge for all fall activities with the exception of the petting farm and outdoor display photo ops.
What’s picking: Pumpkins, though you don’t choose them from the field.
Other activities: Play in a giant corn pit outfitted with buckets, slides and toys ($3), bounce house ($3),  Silly String Zone ($3), make your way through the corn maze ($4), enjoy the fall scenery on a hay ride ($5), pan for gems ($6-$20).

TWIN CITIES WEST METRO PUMPKIN PATCHES

Marshall’s Farm Market

Location: 9100 Eden Prairie Road, Eden Prairie, MN 55347
Hours: Open daily 10am-6pm, July – November.
Admission: Free admission; pumpkins range from $1-$12 a piece.
What’s picking: The perfect pumpkin, along with fresh fall season produce. This is a full country market, so you can also buy meat, eggs, flowers and gifts.
Other activities: All October, family-friendly activities, including, fall-themed games, corn maze, haunted house, jumpin’ pumpkin and a coffin selfie.

Minnetonka Orchards

Location: 6480 County Rd 26, Minnetrista, MN 55364
Hours: Opens Saturday, September 9, 2023. 10am-6pm daily.
Admission: $7-$10/pp
What’s picking: Pumpkins offered in a variety of shapes, sizes & colors. 
Other activities: Hayrides, live music, corn hole, face painting, hay mountain, kids scavenger hunt, giant sandbox, playground and Halloween events. 

TWIN CITIES SOUTH METRO PUMPKIN PATCHES

Barten Pumpkins

Location: 5716 W. 280th St., New Prague, MN 56071
Hours: Open daily September 20th through October 3, 2023, daylight hours.
Admission: Free admission and free parking. Pumpkins $2-$10.
What’s picking: Pumpkins of every shape and size (pre-picked).
Other activities: This year, enjoy photo ops in the pumpkin patch, stilt-walking, nature pay area and log cabin, and free entertainment such as live music select weekends. Hayrides for groups by appointment.

Pahl’s Market

Location: 6885 160th St, Apple Valley, MN
Hours: Fall Festival: September 30-October 1, 2023. Market is open daily 9am-5pm to shop for pumpkins – pie pumpkins and carving pumpkins (when in season)
Admission: Free
Other activities: The annual Fall Festival includes a free corn pit, $5 bouncy pumpkin. Find fall décor like scarecrows, mums and more. 

Peter’s Pumpkins & Carmen’s Corn

Location: 12860 Old Brick Yard Road, Shakopee, MN 55379
Hours: Open weekdays 11am – 6:30pm, weekends 9am – 6:30pm
Admission: Free
What’s picking: Free hayrides (October weekends) to pick-your-own pumpkins from the field. Pre-picked, homegrown produce available to purchase.
Other activities: Enjoy the working farm and work your way through the Free corn maze.

Sever’s Fall Festival

Location: 3121 W 150th St, Shakopee, MN 55379
Hours: Weekends & MEA 10am-7pm. Sept. 16 – Oct. 29, 2023.
Admission:  $16/pp. 
What’s picking: Pick-your-own pumpkins at Sever’s Fall Festival.
Other activities: Sever’s Corn Maze is well-known for its extensive menu of activities featuring their corn maze, corn pits, giant slide, and exotic petting zoo. Never mind the corn cannon, try a pumpkin blaster.

Red Barn Learning Farm
